The Italian section of our layout

In this section we discuss the conversion of the NMBS layout to an FS, Italian, layout.

First we are going to make a lighted ceiling over the whole layout so that later we can also show a day-night rhythm here.
The whole layout must remain transportable and so the construction will be kept as light as possible. The depth of the layout is 85cm, the length 7.2m plus 2 tunnel sections.

I will explain the construction further once everything is finished. In the meantime, here are some pictures.

When they are in our possession we can start working on the overhead line.
